PADDY CLEANING
At Resham Rice Mill, rice begins its journey with the careful cleaning of freshly harvested paddy. The grains pass through advanced equipment—sieves, blowers, destoners, and magnetic separators—to remove dust, chaff, stones, and metal fragments. This ensures uniform, contaminant-free paddy, protects machinery, and sets the stage for high-quality milling, reflecting the mill’s commitment to hygiene and excellence.
PADDY SOAKING
After cleaning, the paddy undergoes soaking and conditioning, absorbing moisture uniformly to soften the husk. It is then drained and conditioned under controlled temperature and humidity, ensuring optimal moisture for smooth husking, minimal breakage, and higher milling yield. Resham Rice Mill uses modern soaking tanks and conditioning units to maintain precision, hygiene, and consistency.
PADDY HUSKING
After soaking and conditioning, the paddy moves to the husking stage, where the outer husk is carefully removed using advanced machines that protect the rice kernel. This ensures maximum whole-grain recovery, minimal breakage, and preserves texture and nutrition. The husk (bran) is collected for use as animal feed or fuel, promoting sustainability. By the end of this stage, the paddy becomes brown rice, ready for polishing.
PADDY SEPERATION
After husking, the mixture of brown rice, partially husked grains, and husk passes through a paddy separator. Using vibration and density-based technology, it separates fully husked brown rice from unhusked grains, which are recycled for reprocessing. This ensures only clean, uniform rice moves forward, enhancing milling efficiency and maintaining Resham Rice Mill’s commitment to quality and precision.
PADDY WHITENING
After separation, brown rice undergoes whitening and polishing, where the outer bran layer is gently removed. Using advanced multi-stage polishers with controlled friction and fine misting, Resham Rice Mill ensures bright, glossy grains with smooth texture, natural shine, and intact nutrition. This produces premium-quality rice that is clean, uniform, and visually appealing.
GRADING & SORTING
After polishing, the rice enters grading and sorting, where size, shape, and quality are precisely classified. Vibrating graders separate full, medium, and broken grains, while optical sorters remove discolored or defective ones. This ensures consistent, premium-quality rice for packaging, with rejected grains repurposed for byproducts like rice flour, minimizing waste.
PACKAGING
After milling and grading, rice moves to packaging, where it is carefully weighed and packed in durable bags or containers to maintain freshness and aroma. Packages are labeled with brand, variety, grade, weight, and batch number for traceability. Using automated systems and quality checks, Resham Rice Mill ensures hygiene, consistency, and high standards before storing rice in temperature-controlled warehouses for distribution.
